Dar el médina har ett perfekt läge i området La Medina i Tunis, 17 km från Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 5 minuters promenad från Dar Lasram Museum och 500 m från Kasbah Square. I cannot add anything more positive to say about Dar El Medina that hasn't already been said. But I think special recognition should be given to all the staff I encountered who were friendly, professional and more than willing to give that extra something. This especially applies to Nede, who first checked me in and provided the historical perspective of the building. Also, the chef, Slah, not only cooked me an excellent dinner of fish couscous but talking with him in English was both enlightening and a pleasure. Finally, I wish to give extra mention to the awesome breakfast that was provided by a smiling Safa every morning. Not only was the breakfast delicious but also extremely filling. I would surely return to Dar El Medina given a chance.

The beautiful upgrade was a very nice gesture . Close to a lot of shops &cafes, but still quite with nice views on the lake and mountains. Tunisia mall is near. Easy to reach old Medina, sidibousaid, & Carthage . Comfortable bathrooms. Friendly staff everyone especially Aziz,Isam.

Beautiful and well maintained with traditional decor. You can feel it has a soul and looks spotless. Every corner is worth stopping and photographing. Restaurant team on the rooftop who spoke English (boy) was very welcoming and very excited to see us - this type of warm welcome we would expect from reception team. Door on rooftop restaurant was excellent, we stayed 6 hours from lunch to dinner with our friends and enjoyed view, service and food very much. Will come back and recommend.

Dessutom inte en enda fläck eller spår efter mat utanför uppläggningsfaten. Stort fint rum. Genomgående blev jag mycket positivt överraskad. Ett extra plus till receptionen som gav mig samma rum när jag återvände knappt två veckor senare.
